Welcome to itsacyntasticlife!

I couldn’t be more thrilled to share all the incredible things that make and have made my life a cyntastic (fantastic) one. 

Who am I? I am a global soul that started to breathe in Zurich, Switzerland. From there my parents and I lived in Singapore, England, Japan, and Hong Kong. After graduating High School in Tokyo, I got my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. I deeply wanted to be a famous movie star and win an Oscar.

I eventually did win a trophy but for something completely different. After 6 years in NYC I moved to LA to find my Oscar and somehow got immersed in my yoga practice. I become a Bikram Yoga teacher in 2003 and in 2007 I became the USA and World Yoga Champion. This accomplishment gave me the gift of traveling the world, practicing yoga, performing demonstrations and the best part of all was meeting so many kind and genuine people.

My yoga journey went up a few thousand levels when I became the owner of a yoga studio in 2011. I co-owned Bomitra Yoga Mountain View in Silicon Valley until 2020. Unfortunately I had to close due the pandemic.

I live with my husband, 2 step-children, my mother and in 2018 became a mother to the most incredible boy.

For years and years I have been following bloggers and vloggers and I started my itsacyntasticlife YouTube channel in 2016. Watching and reading about influencers from all over the world has continuously inspired my love for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.  I love photography and video and look forward to sharing with you not only my thoughts and wisdom through blogs, but also snapshots of my daily life. With the explosion of social media and influencers, I feel that no matter how many there are out there, that we all have a voice to share, words to inspire and images to feel in our hearts. 

If I can give you any advice, golden gems that can transform the moment then I have done my job. If I can share any items that have brought a smile to my face and brings one to yours too then that will bring me joy.
